Brian Whisenant, MD

Dr. Brian Whisenant is an interventional cardiologist and director of the Intermountain Heart Institute Structural Heart Disease program. A graduate of Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Whisenant trained in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of California San Francisco, and an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was a faculty member at UCSD and the University of Utah prior to coming to Intermountain in 2005.
