Cardiologist Amir Kaki, MD, is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional cardiovascular care. At Heart & Vascular Institute in Dearborn, Detroit, and Southfield, Michigan, he delivers life-saving treatments to a diverse group of patients, helping patients manage and treat their severe heart problems. Dr. Kaki aims to improve patients’ health through comprehensive preventive care.
Dr. Kaki attended medical school at UNIBE (Universidad Iberoamericana) in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
During his education, Dr. Kaki chose to deepen his expertise in cardiovascular medicine. Included were fellowships at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in cardiology, where he was named a chief fellow, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City in coronary, endovascular, and carotid intervention.
